Job Description - Diagnostic Imaging Clinical Systems Analyst (2401207)Who You Are:The Diagnostic Imaging Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the development, configuration, support, and optimization of clinical imaging systems. They will work closely with radiologists, technologists, and IT teams to ensure that diagnostic imaging systems are functioning efficiently and that they align with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.What You’ll Do:System Implementation & Integration:

Lead the installation, configuration, and integration of diagnostic imaging systems (PACS, RIS, VNA) with other hospital systems (EHR, HIS).Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to ensure proper interfaces and data flow between systems.

Technical Support & Maintenance:

Provide ongoing technical support for clinical users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to imaging systems.Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure system stability and compliance with security protocols.

Workflow Optimization:

Analyze and optimize imaging system workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality of patient care.Provide user training to radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals on best practices and system functionality.

Data Management & Security:

Ensure proper management of diagnostic imaging data, including storage, retrieval, and backup processes.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA regarding the security and privacy of patient data.

Work with vendors and service providers to resolve system issues, manage updates, and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).Coordinate with vendors for system installations, migrations, and integrations as needed.Project Management:

Manage projects related to the implementation of new imaging systems or upgrades, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and clinical requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects efficiently.

Reporting & Analytics:

Generate reports related to system performance, utilization, and imaging workflow efficiency.Support clinicians and administrators in retrieving and analyzing diagnostic imaging data for research or operational purposes.

What You’ll Bring:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Systems, Computer Science, Radiology Technology, or related field.Experience:

Experience working with PACS, RIS, VNA systems, or other clinical imaging software. Previous experience in healthcare IT is preferred.Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of DICOM, HL7 standards, networking, and imaging equipment (CT, MRI, X-ray).Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze workflows for optimization.Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with clinical, technical, and administrative staff.Certifications (Preferred):
