The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator will be responsible for security operations requests, managing client data, international travel itineraries, global beacon tracking devices, worldwide intelligence monitoring, and assisting clients under duress traveling overseas. The GSOC Operator will report directly to the Operations Center Director and the VP of Operations. This is an Associate (Intermediate) Level position.Duties and Responsibilities
Core Duties and Responsibilities:Build Mission Briefs based on client’s itinerary and required security postureCoordinate and direct international security team members in support of clients under duressIdentify and prioritize emergency situations as they develop internationallyCommunicate effectively verbally and in writing with a diverse group of people to include C-Suite executives, support staff, international security operators, international law enforcement, and international operation centersPerform Operations Center functions such as responding to phone calls and emails, entering and updating client data, maintaining duty logs, updating and organizing company shared drive files and applicationsConduct regular client interface and account management related functions while delivering exceptional customer serviceOther Duties and Responsibilities:Manage GPS-based global tracking devices and platformTroubleshoot and resolve possible technical issues of tracking devices and platformPerform all other related duties as assigned including but not limited to assisting with marketing efforts and the creation of intelligence productsProvide support for aerial medical evacuationsRespond to crisis-level events to facilitate emergency extractions and protection as neededQualifications
Required Qualifications:At least 1-2 years in a customer support/security environmentAbility to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailInterest in executive protection, travel, and security servicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with large corporate clients and high net worth families and individualsMust possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidanceStrong attention to detailProvide security posture recommendations for travelersExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsDesired Qualifications:Working understanding of physical security and executive protectionMilitary ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or related fieldTravel ExperienceBilingualism is a plusThis is a full-time, in-person position at the McLean, VA officeThe GSOC operates 24/7Start Date: November 1st 2024 or soonerGlobal Guardian is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and an Alcohol-and-Drug Free Workplace.
