Job Title: Lead Infrastructure Analyst / ManagerLocation: Park 10/I-10 area of Houston, TX - 5 days a week on-siteSalary: $95K plus full benefits package.This is a cross role between having strong Lead Level hands-on Systems Administration AND Network Administration experience. Will need to get through a technical interview for both areas.SUMMARY:The “Hands-On” Lead Infrastructure Analyst/Manager is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a local and wide-area computer network supporting approximately 300 end-users across the greater Houston area, including both on-site and remote branch locations. This role requires strong technical expertise in both Systems Administration with Windows 10, Windows Server Management, as well as having experience with Network Administration, Computer Networking, and Security.DUTIES:Provide Level 3 senior-level technical support for all computer and printer issues on Windows 10 and MacOS devices, including troubleshooting, setups, and password resets using Active Directory and Group Policy management.Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and increase operational efficiency.Manage, configure, and administer the organization’s critical infrastructure platforms, including:Veeam V12 Backup & Replication for data protection.VMware vSphere virtual environment for server and application hosting.ManageEngine ServiceDesk, Endpoint Central, and Password Manager for IT service management.Microsoft Exchange Server for email.QNAP QTS network attached storage.Zoom video conferencing.Be available for on-call support during weekends to ensure network uptime and resolve any critical issues.Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal network health.Collaborate with the IT team to plan, implement, and test network upgrades, expansions, and new technology initiatives.Provide training and guidance to end-users on network policies, best practices, and troubleshooting.Document network configurations, procedures, and technical solutions for knowledge transfer and future reference.Stay up to date with the latest Networking Technologies, industry trends, and certifications to continuously improve the organization’s IT capabilities.Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.REQUIREMENTS:Some years of experience as a Lead/Systems/Network Administrator or Senior IT Support Specialist.Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy AND experience with Network Routers and Switches.Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and systems management.Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere.Expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions, preferably Veeam.Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and infrastructure management.Familiarity with enterprise-level applications like Exchange, QNAP, Zoom, and ManageEngine.Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.Willingness to be on-call and respond to Network emergencies outside of normal business hours.Experience in managing and mentoring junior IT staff.Interested candidates email your resume to
