Quaestor Advisors, LLC (“Quaestor”) is an affiliated Special Servicer, which provides mid and back-office services, including asset management, to Arena Investors and external clients.Quaestor is looking to expand the Asset Management team through the addition of a real estate Vice President. In this role, this individual will support the senior members of the Asset Management Real Estate Team and will report to the Head of the Real Estate Team. The Asset Management Group’s primary responsibilities include asset valuation, portfolio surveillance, and maximization of return for the firm’s investment portfolio. Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and be able to work effectively with all internal groups.Responsibilities:
Have primary responsibility for a portfolio of 15-20 real estate assets or loans secured CRE in default.Responsible for monthly valuation of all assigned investments.Be prepared to evaluate, develop and implement alternative business plans for “value-add” opportunities including construction, tenant improvements and enhancements to optimize sale and return of capital.Extensive interface with Finance and Operations teams.Generate detailed financial models, including those for projections, covenant sensitivity analysis, duration and IRR calculations, amongst others.Assist in the generation of marketing and credit/performance reports and presentations.Continuously monitor assigned product sectors and portfolio companies.Work with legal, financial, valuation and accounting advisors on account management, diligence and documentation.Help to structure transactions and assist with closing deals/amendments, etc.
