Job Title: Quality Assurance Receiving Dimensional InspectorReports to the Director of Quality or the Lead Inspector. Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector is a member of the quality department assuring both regulatory and the overall quality of the product is maintained.
Job Duties:
Provide frequent accurate and candid reporting to the Quality department.Deal with colleagues, customers, and vendors in a cordial, respectful, and professional manner.Perform Receiving Inspection on purchased components (e.g., MS, NAS, or other parts) that are received using certificates. Input accurate and complete data into the QAV system.With assistance from Level II or Lead Inspector, perform incoming inspection of aerospace articles using approved data.Document inspections/discrepancies by completing reports and logs for review by the Lead Inspector.Assure inspection tools are calibrated before inspecting aerospace articles.
Qualifications:Read, write, and understand English.
Experience:Limited experience in using dimensional inspection tools (e.g., mics, calipers, protractors, radius gauges).With assistance, develop an understanding of regulations of articles manufactured under part 21, including STC and PMA authorities.With assistance from Lead Inspector, develop experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Working Conditions:- Requires frequent walking, standing, and/or climbing.
