Sales DirectorLocation:

Group Commercial DirectorJob Purpose:- Drive profitable sales growth in target geographical area- Lead commercial activities, maintain strong customer relationships, and achieve revenue and margin growth targets- Support business plan and wider strategies to deliver above-market growthKey Responsibilities:-

Market Identification and Development:

Identify target markets, focus on North American market, develop and execute revenue capture plans for identified targets-

Sales Budget and Growth Targets:

Assume sales budget responsibility, achieve aggressive growth targets, drive top-line growth and segment/product profitability-

Pricing Policy Management:

Manage pricing policies, optimize added value, and understand margin levels-

Commercial Reporting and Planning:

Provide comprehensive commercial reporting, lead commercial input for reviews, and emphasize pipeline management-

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with technical and operational teams, promote unified customer interactions-

Marketing and Communication:

Collaborate with local and group marketing teams to ensure effective communications and promotions-

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Analyze market environment, develop strategies to address market trends and competitor performance-

Contract Negotiations and Pricing Strategy:

Manage contract negotiations, prepare competitive quotations, and achieve appropriate margins-

Supply Chain and Operations Alignment:

Collaborate with procurement and operations team to ensure alignment with commercial goalsExternal & Internal Relationships:-

External:

Customers, distributors, CDH team, external design/specifiers, certification bodies-

Hadley Internal:

Group Board, Custom Rollform Division teams, procurement, production, engineering, marketing, and HGT teamsTravel Requirements:- Primarily in the USA with occasional trips to Europe- 60% field, 30% office, 10% home-basedQualifications and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration, MBA desirable- 10+ years’ experience in senior sales leadership roles within the industrial sector- Strong understanding of industrial market trends, exceptional leadership and negotiation skills, ability to develop and implement sales strategies- Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and distribution networks- Fluent in EnglishCore Competencies:- Commercial acumen, knowledge of the specification route to market and relevant standards- Organized, structured, results-driven with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skillsPersonal Qualities:- Demonstrates commitment to corporate values- Good work ethic, open to change, civil, and cooperative- Excellent communication skills, energy and drive for results, health, safety, and environment focus- Willing and able to travel extensively within the USAAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran's status.
