Senior Configuration Management Specialist

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Frederick, Maryland.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Authorizes the release of software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.Supports the development of the CM policy, plan, charters, processes, and procedures.Provides configuration accounting in support of change management activities and facilitate/participate in applicable IPTs and Control Boards.Provides project document CM support.Establishes and maintains consistent configuration control practices.Provides support in updating the Configuration Management Plans.Establishes and maintains Program Support Library to ensure configuration information is systematically maintained and readily available to the PMO.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor's degree.A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Configuration Management Specialist.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Demonstrated expertise with document management, with an eye for details.Demonstrated familiarity with IT systems; ability to understand technical concepts and translate them between technical and business personnel.Experience or knowledge of SAFe.Preferred Qualifications:SAFe Agilist or SAFe for Teams certification.Configuration management experience with TMIP-J legacy systems and applications.Clearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
