The Utah Education and Telehealth Network seeks a talented professional who is passionate about storytelling, communication strategy, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, a keen understanding of internal communication dynamics, basic knowledge of general workplace policies, and the ability to develop and implement communication plans that resonate with diverse audiences. Experience in education, healthcare, or technology sectors is a plus but not required.Responsibilities
Develop and execute internal communication strategies to support UETN’s objectives.Create compelling content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, email campaigns, and more.Collaborate with departments across UETN to ensure consistent messaging and information flow.Foster an inclusive environment by promoting a sense of community and shared purpose among employees.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.Carry out activities to build employee’s understanding of the organization.Coordinate employee experience functions in support of Human Resources including employee onboarding and departures, training and performance evaluations.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Completion of provided supervisory training within one year of employment may be required. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.Preferences
Demonstrated work experience in employee communications, specifically experience leading related projects or initiatives.Interpersonal and analytical skills.Proficiency with common workplace software applications and tools.Ability to work with people of various professional backgrounds and specialties.Effective writing and communication skills.Additional Information
