We’re actively seeking a talented
SVP, Global Head of Total Rewards
to join our Human Resources team in Newport Beach, CA reporting to the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer. This role is hybrid and may consider remote for the right candidate. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
As the SVP, Global Head of Total Rewards you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward as you take on responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive total rewards strategies that align with the company's business goals and enhance candidate attraction and employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction. This role oversees all aspects of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs across the globe and ensures compliance with local and international regulations.How you’ll help move us forward:Develop and execute a global total rewards strategy that supports the company's business objectives and enhances its ability to attract, retain, and motivate talent.Work collaboratively with the business to develop proactive and innovative approaches to ensure our total rewards are competitive, drive business results, and align with our culture.Leverage your knowledge of market conditions and the competitive talent landscape to design tailored strategies for rewards concerning key talent segments.Review, evaluate, and execute the executive compensation programs (base, bonus, and equity) by collaborating with CEO, CHRO, and with outside executive compensation consultants to ensure they are performance driven, market competitive, appropriately leveraged, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated.Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation structures, including base pay, incentives, and executive compensation programs.Lead the development and management of global benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.Ensure total rewards programs are equitable and inclusive, promoting diversity within the organization.Develop and manage the total rewards budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.Lead the development of communication strategies to effectively inform employees about total rewards programs and changes.Lead and develop a global team of compensation and benefits professionals, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.The experience you bring:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in total rewards or a related field, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience managing global total rewards programs, including in diverse geographic regions.Deep understanding of compensation and benefits best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
