Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr Principal Engineer Systems Test – System Architecture Verification Test Analyst (24-352) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Overview:

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight.

As a member of the Global Solution Team of the Missile Defense National Team for C2BMC, this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications, and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations.

Essential Functions:

Possess experience in testing and evaluating a software-intensive system in various test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development.

Strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers.

Experience using DoD test methodologies, functional capability-related test/analysis planning and execution.

Analysis experience should involve characterizing system, software, or component performance using quantitative methods.

Experience may come from independent efforts and participation within test teams.

Basic Qualifications:

An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.

9 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 7 years' experience with a master’s degree; or 13 years' experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience with an Agile development process.

Automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment.

Requirement and verification analysis.

Documenting software deficiency reports.

Work effectively in a small technical team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher is highly desired.

Experience in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable.

$109,900 - $164,900
