Junior Architectural Designer

The role is for a Junior Architectural Designer to join the Interiors department of our studio, working closely with the Creative Director, Head of Interiors, and Senior Designers on supporting and developing design concepts from start to finish. This department focuses on everything involving interior and spatial design, with projects ranging from retail and residential spaces, restaurants, and offices to activated spaces.Responsibilities
Support design team in all areas of design: Ideation, Schematic Design, Design Development, including: 3D visualizations, detailed drawings, and material specifications.Assist in the creation of design packages including detailed floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules, hardware schedules, and other specifications and details as needed.Assist in the creation of 3-D models and renderings as needed.Prepare comprehensive creative decks including: mood boards, layouts, and renders.Keep clear and accessible records of all correspondence and meetings.Assist where needed in project organization, organizing files, assisting with FF&E purchasing, material library organization, and material sourcing.Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino.Proficiency in Adobe Suite.Proficiency in 3D rendering programs such as V-Ray and Cinema4D a plus.Previous experience in interiors or architecture office preferred, in internship or full-time capacity.Strong verbal communication skills and graphic presentation skills.Basic understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, and codes.Ability to multi-task across various projects.Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field.Submit your resume at hire@p-r.studio or below.
