The role is for an Architectural Designer to join the 'Interiors' department of our studio, working closely with the Creative Director on developing design concepts from start to finish. This department focuses on everything involving interior and spatial design, with projects ranging from retail and residential spaces, restaurants, and offices to activated spaces.Responsibilities
Assisting in all areas of design: Ideation, Schematic Design, Design Development, including: 3D visualizations, detailed drawings, and material specifications.Assist in project coordination and construction administration with architects, suppliers, fabricators, consultants, and other third parties.Responsible for creating final design packages including detailed floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules, hardware schedules, and other specifications and details as needed.Responsible for material sourcing, specifications, and custom furniture design.Prepare comprehensive creative decks including mood boards, layouts, and renders.Keep clear and accessible records of all correspondence and meetings.Assist in the management of the material library at the studio.Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino.Proficiency in Adobe Suite.Proficiency in 3D rendering programs such as V-Ray and Cinema4D a plus.At least 3 years working experience in interiors or architecture.Strong verbal communication skills and graphic presentation skills.Basic understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques.Ability to multitask across various projects.Bachelor's Degree in a related field.Submit resumes to hire@p-r.studio.
