HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER - FULL TIME, PARSONS

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Environmental Manager to join the Facilities team. You will be responsible for Health, Safety and environmental care across END. UK sites. Implementing policies to ensure we create a safe working environment for all locations, identifying potential hazards, implementing safety measures and ensuring compliance with regulations.
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities:
Developing safety policies: Creating and implementing policies and procedures that ensure a safe working environment.
Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and devising strategies to mitigate these risks. Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain records.
Compliance Management: Ensuring that the organisation adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
Emergency Response Planning: Creating and maintaining emergency response plans for various potential incidents.
Employee Training and Engagement: Conducting training sessions for employees on safety practices and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigating workplace incidents or accidents and reporting findings to appropriate parties.
Environmental Management: Implementing strategies for waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices.
Health and Wellness Programs: Developing programs to support employee health and wellness.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating EHS policies and procedures to improve safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicating effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders about EHS matters.
Manage ESOS reporting and compliance.

Is a technical ‘expert’ in their particular field and requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the discipline.
Demonstrates leadership and mentors more junior colleagues.
Performs complex professional or financial activities with strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication and influencing skills working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Level 5 professional qualifications or extensive practical knowledge gained through experience.
