A Nashville-based healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel/Corporate Counsel to join its legal department. The ideal candidate must have 4-6 years of experience in technology law, intellectual property, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare law, and/or regulatory matters.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating and drafting customer contracts for healthcare IT, including software licensing, SAAS solutions, and related services.
Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing vendor and strategic partner contracts, including reseller arrangements, technology and product development, licensing, and services.
Involvement in transactional matters, including strategy, contract negotiation/drafting/review, and diligence.
Legal/compliance review of new products and advising management regarding new offerings.
Working with the Director of Compliance and others regarding HIPAA and FDA compliance matters.
Oversight/management of related litigation matters, including oversight of outside counsel.
IP oversight and management.
Providing legal advice and counsel regarding corporate and operational matters.
HIPAA and FDA compliance experience is not required, but HIPAA experience is preferred. Previous in-house experience is a plus. Candidates must have outstanding professional and academic credentials.
