Purpose:
As our VP of Finance, you’ll play a key role providing comprehensive financial and business support across the Edible organization. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborates closely with the Controller and FP&A team. As a strategic partner, you will engage with senior management to drive financial performance and support business objectives.

Location:
This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Edible’s senior finance leader, reporting directly to the CFO, with responsibility for shaping the company’s financial strategy and providing strong leadership to the finance team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of high performance.
Enhance the financial planning and analysis function, focusing on accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
Serve as a commercial partner to non-financial executive stakeholders by providing financial insights, analyses, and recommendations that drive informed decision-making, business growth, and expansion.
Collaborate with the CFO on capital-raising initiatives, including debt financing, equity transactions, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to align with the company’s growth strategy.
Identify financial risks and opportunities for the business, ensuring appropriate risk management policies are in place to protect the company’s financial health.
Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Monitor budget adherence across departments, ensuring spending aligns with corporate objectives and financial targets.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven track record scaling companies effectively.
Experience with food-service or retail store unit economics is highly desirable.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis required.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
The ability to build robust relationships with non-financial stakeholders is critical.
Professional CPA and/or MBA certification is preferred.
