Data Warehouse Manager

to join our Headquarters Team!ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Work closely with existing data warehouse team and stakeholders to understand business requirements and to translate these requirements into high-quality data solutions using existing standards and conventions.Hands-on oversight and mentorship of ETL developer and DBA.Build upon existing monitoring of enterprise data quality.Develop and execute data quality rules (i.e. completeness, validity, and timeliness) used in monitoring dashboards.Provide ongoing efforts to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and used appropriately.Analyze emerging needs around risk, regulatory, and compliance initiatives through data management policies.Maintain documentation for master data dictionary; this is critical for data consumers to have a clear understanding of data elements, source systems, and appropriate use.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in the related field

required . Master’s degree preferred.Three years of Data Management experience

required .Expertise with ETL and major DBMS platforms, specifically MS SQL and MySQL required.Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) processes preferred.Experience with cloud databases (i.e. Salesforce) preferred.Hands-on, applied experience with Enterprise Data Management Policy/Standards preferred.Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight.Ability to work across multiple teams and to manage multiple priorities.Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced, regulatory driven environment; detail oriented.Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify and summarize complex topics.Ability to enforce policy decisions.Ability to lead and to influence stakeholders across multiple levels and organizations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.SALARY:Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications.
