PURPOSE
This Director, Regulatory Compliance manages FormFactor’s compliance programs worldwide. The role is directly responsible for monitoring and communicating regulatory changes and updates as well as implementation of new and continuous improvement of processes with an initial focus on the Company’s trade compliance program. This position works across all of FormFactor’s businesses, interfaces regularly with senior management and reports to the Chief Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s compliance programs.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates to the compliance programs.
Identify and mitigate the compliance risk associated with the different functional areas/systems.
Develop, deliver, and track compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
Interpret and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines and advise senior management on relevant business needs.
Provide guidance and support for all departments (Legal, Operations, Logistics, Business Development/Sales, Finance) on compliance-related matters.
Investigate reports of alleged noncompliance and work with appropriate personnel, including HR, to ensure the proper and consistent application of any compliance-related disciplinary action.
Develop and enhance the company’s global export control program ensuring adherence to export control & sanctions related regulations.
Works closely with the business to ensure continuous improvement of all export control related systems, policies and procedures.
Oversee teams that provide advice & recommendations on required export control & sanctions licenses, agreements, shipping documents and other underlying documentation for accurate compliance with ITAR, EAR and other applicable regulations.
Develop and performs training of personnel at all levels on a frequent basis.
Advises FormFactor sites of new regulations and how they affect business processes.
Lead/support & advice on internal investigations and promptly reports the results of any investigations to FormFactor management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
10+ years trade and export control experience preferable in a multinational company.
BA/BS degree required. MA/MS/MBA degree strongly preferred.
Detailed and extensive knowledge and experience trade and sanctions regulations worldwide.
Knowledge of licensing, reporting and export program development and management including the implementation of policies, processes, and tools.
Broad experience planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and managing compliance programs.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with diverse business teams.
Strong analytical skills and capacity to work effectively in a matrixed organizational structure.
Growth mindset, high integrity, highly tuned emotional intelligence, and the ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Acute attention to detail and ability to multi-task in an evolving corporate culture.
Initiative with ability to act decisively, work independently, and exercise excellent judgment.

Excellent written/oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
25% travel domestically and internationally when required.
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $181,800 and $238,600. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Benefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
