The Building Performance Technical Services Director (TSD) is responsible for managing high-standard building performance and operational services across the portfolio. This includes overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, FLS, BMS, and 24/7 Operations Center services to ensure consistent, seamless, and efficient standards are met. Oversee a team of five to seven for director reports and organization of 150.Key Responsibilities:Operational/Technical Management:Daily onsite requirement with travel across a portfolio of over 200 buildings.Direct base building services, operations center, and MEP directorsMaximize existing technology and digital building systemsEnsure optimal asset performance and energy managementProvide technical advice and guidance to clientsOversee and report on KPIs (monthly, quarterly, annual)Support engineering teams in operations and design assessmentManage shutdown request processSustainability and Energy Efficiency:Align with client's sustainability strategySupport Net Zero Carbon goalsOptimize energy efficienciesProvide compliance reportingCollaboration and Relationship Management:Work with IFM team and Built Environment teamManage supply partnersLiaise with Labs Pillar team for integrated service deliveryTechnical Expertise:Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practicesUnderstand building design, operation, and usageShare knowledge with service partners, engineers, and occupiersRequired Skills and Experience:Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, BMS, and SMART building servicesMinimum 10 years' experience at technical engineering management levelEngineering degree preferredExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsProficiency in report writing and contract managementUnderstanding of statutory compliance and health and safety risk managementExperience with CorrigoTechnical Knowledge Areas:Heating, cooling, and ventilation systemsHV and LV systemsLighting and power distributionEmergency power systemsControl systems and BMSDomestic water and fire systemsEnergy management systemsIoT and SMART applicationsCompliance with regulations and building codesThis role is crucial for maintaining high-performance standards across JLL's managed properties while supporting clients' sustainability goals and ensuring occupant satisfaction.Estimated total compensation for this position:185,900.00 – 269,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
