Position Overview :
Kwaan Bear Technology is seeking a dedicated IT Business Analyst to analyze the habits and preferences of target audiences to determine how technology tools can enhance work productivity and collaboration, with a particular focus on tools for knowledge management, project management, and other high-impact functions. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate on impactful projects, develop user adoption materials, and provide customer support for CTO-managed platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify target audience preferences to recommend and enhance technology tools for collaboration and workflow efficiency.
Assess CTO-managed tools, other Department tools, and emerging technologies to align with the business needs of various audiences, recommending new processes as needed.
Adhere to project planning techniques to deliver projects on time while engaging stakeholders.
Independently produce reports, correspondence, and other routine documents, coordinating with various Department of State stakeholders, including R, R/PPR, and PD, as necessary.
Prepare background materials and reports for stakeholder meetings.
Develop and deliver guidance for IT system adoption, including tips, tutorials, and multimedia learning resources for applications like Slack, Zoom, and other department-managed platforms.
Support user communications to ensure clarity and readability for platform announcements and updates.
Provide customer support for CTO-managed platforms, managing new account requests, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Draft user-facing communications on platform updates, new features, training, and best practices.
Compile and analyze user data to track platform adoption and usage.
Document best practices to streamline internal team workflows.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Strong client focus with the ability to understand and meet user needs while building and maintaining working relationships.
Proven experience in translating user requirements into IT system improvements and implementations.
Experience managing datasets and creating basic data visualizations.
Skilled in tracking IT system usage and developing best practices for their effective use.
Experience creating user guides, training materials, and presentations for IT systems.
Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts in plain language to non-experts.
Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with Slack.
Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile.
Background in providing customer support for IT systems.
