Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Vice President of Capital Markets to join our team!
This role is responsible for raising private capital from ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) and other non-institutional sources focused on direct investment in real estate, with target investments between $5-50M. This individual will have a leadership role on the Capital Markets team focused on cultivating new and unique capital relationships while managing existing investor relationships.
Some things you can expect to do:
Collaborate with the Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and other senior leadership to develop and implement Ryan’s private capital strategy
Work with asset management team to advance Ryan’s reporting capabilities for our private capital investors
Raise private equity LP capital that can be used in lieu of institutional LP equity for Ryan developments and/or acquired properties
Selectively raise private equity GP capital that will capitalize large Ryan developments and/or acquired properties
Develop a business development plan to identify potential new private capital investors
Formulate and execute on Ryan sponsored investor conferences and retreats
Oversee relationships with brokers, attorneys, accountants, and other resources to grow Ryan’s private capital relationships
Collaborate with other business lines including asset management, development, legal, marketing, and accounting
Implement and maintain a department capital plan including assigned capital providers and incorporation of new capital providers
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, a bachelor’s degree is required.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in real estate capital raising and capital markets with real estate developers, operators, private equity firms, investment managers, and/or placement agents.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience with commercial real estate as investable asset class.

Have an MBA or Master’s degree in Real Estate.
