Posted 3 days agoDescriptionWe are in need of an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of the Project Coordinating Department. This position takes part in a leadership role and helps us to be a direct resource for anyone in the company with questions. This position helps with field sampling questions and laboratory analysis questions, as well as providing pricing and administrative and/or billing questions. In addition, the position manages and oversees the day-to-day operations.ResponsibilitiesCalling clients and techniciansScheduling field jobs with technicians, clients, and homeownersProvide excellent customer service and maintain client relationsPreparing and gaining work authorizationsAssist in acquiring billing information for clients and insurance companiesTaking lead in the Manager role when the manager is not presentQualificationsCustomer service experience requiredAbility to communicate with a range of personalities and emotionsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointBecome proficient in company databases, project management systems, and third-party software applications in use by the companyExcellent verbal and communication skills, personable and client-service-orientedCapable of training, reviewing, and critiquing deliverablesAbility to direct and manage a fast-paced officeAbility to learn, understand, and explain the technical/science side of the industry and assessCapable of directing various departments and prioritizingDetail-oriented, accurate reporting, and fast typing skillsMinimum of 2 years experience working within an associated industry or role-typeCertifications in Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene are a plus (CAC, LI-RA, CMI)Laboratory experience is a plusGreat communicationMust live within daily driving distance of the officeCompensation$49,000 - $56,000About Vert Environmental @ FullertonVERT Environmental @ Fullerton is a full-service environmental testing and consulting company servicing Southern California.
