Our client is a growing Food Manufacturer seeking a Sanitation Manager (Graveyard) to join their team in Fullerton, CA.Title:

10:00 PM – 6:30 AMAs the Sanitation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sanitation department, ensuring strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory standards. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality, and employee safety, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in alignment with plant objectives.Develop and facilitate training programs for the team, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols.Lead and manage the sanitation team, ensuring full compliance with Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and all applicable regulatory requirements, including food safety, product quality, and environmental standards.Collaborate closely with senior management and various departments, including production, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse teams, to ensure seamless plant operations.Track and evaluate sanitation performance metrics such as sanitation effectiveness, air quality, environmental monitoring, and chemical usage to support key performance indicators (KPIs).Manage and maintain the master cleaning schedule, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all sanitation activities.Oversee production startup processes to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, making necessary adjustments to sanitation protocols.Actively support third-party, customer, and regulatory audits by ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role within sanitation, ideally within the food manufacturing or related industry.Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Strong critical thinking, time management, and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and enhancing productivity.Proficiency in Excel for tracking and analyzing sanitation metrics.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.Experience with regulatory audits, safety programs, and sanitation protocols in fast-paced environments.Physical Demands & Work Environment:Ability to occasionally lift up to 45 pounds.Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
