Summary:JCS Solutions has a need for a Windows Imaging Engineer to join our growing team providing support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), and other Air Force activities within the AF National Capital Region (AFNCR) missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). What you will do:Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based.Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, performs system capacity analysis and planning. Aids users in accessing and using business systems.Responsible for the planning, execution, verification, and validation of the creation, deployment, integration, and maintenance of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1-3 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements.Manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory management function. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.Performs data analysis on the status of the inventory and make recommendations in support of computer lifecycle replacement and management activities.Deploy, maintain, and update a secure standard image for all relevant environments / domains.Audit and evaluation of the imaging process to determine costs and risks, supportability and scalability for desktop systems.Perform analysis and interpretation of user and product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Continuously evaluate the imaging process for opportunities to automate and reallocate effort toward innovation.Handles software license and maintenance renewals.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Technically strong and able to make quick, sound decisions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.To be successful, you should have:Working knowledge of the Air Force and/or DoD is a plusRequired Skills and Experience:SECRET DoD ClearanceA bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business/finance.

NOTE: Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:A master’s degree (in subjects described above) and three years general experience of which at least two years must be specialized experience.No degree and eight years general experience of which six years is specialized experience.

This position requires a minimum of four years’ experience, of which at least three years must be specialized experience in administrating computer systems.General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network.IAT II - CompTIA Security+ CEAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines with minimal direction at times.Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.It is JCS’ policy to promote equal employment opportunities and celebrate diversity.
