The Senior Associate, Digital Philanthropy is a digital fundraising professional with experience in basic HTML and email templates. This role is a vital team member within World Food Program’s Development department, helping to engage prospects and donors via digital channels and increase financial support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations addressing global hunger.The Senior Associate, Digital Philanthropy manages the production of every email that World Food Program USA sends in support of our goal of Zero Hunger, whether that be fundraising, cultivation, stewardship or advocacy. The person in this role will lead the production of a robust and complex email program in-house, therefore having experience with basic HTML coding and building emails in a CRM is critical to being successful. The Senior Associate of Digital Philanthropy will work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Philanthropy in email production and quality assurance, and lead in the production and content creation of donation pages for web, email, corporate and institutional partnership engagement. This position will have a strong focus on maintaining detailed testing strategies for reporting and analysis and be comfortable operating in an environment that requires swift action in response to global emergencies.As a member of the Development Team, this individual works closely with staff across all World Food Programme USA departments – including operations, marketing and communications and policy.About World Food Program USA

Emails must follow World Food Program USA’s style guide. This role will have access to World Food Program USA’s multimedia hub which houses photos and various other types of assets including b-roll, case studies, produced social media videos and more.Manage day-to-day email marketing campaign execution through Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including planning emails and automations that target non-donors, donors and recurring donors, copywriting, set[1]up of emails and automations, testing, quality assurance, execution, reporting and optimization.Build and manage donation form production for the Development Team through Springboard.Ability to think strategically and solve problems.Collect, monitor, and report online contributions and activity for fundraising and donation pages, as well as overall program performance.Leverage analytics to help the Development Team make data-driven decisions to guide fundraising strategies.Respond to donor’s comments and concerns through surveys and other forms (i.e. unsubscribe) as necessary through email correspondence.Contribute to brainstorms to develop campaign ideas and improve digital efforts.Participate in collaboration with various departments to improve reporting and processesWork in a team to implement successful email campaigns.Willing to work weekends and holidays occasionally if global events occur requiring rapid email response.Qualifications:

Passion for our shared vision of creating a world with zero hunger preferredMust be able to code basic HTML by hand; familiarity with CSS preferredStrong grasp of online metrics, statistics and common Excel functionsExperience with data interpretation and analysisComfortable with both creative and analytical approaches to workUnderstand site content management systems, including email and donation page creation platformsExperience with Salesforce preferred.Able to juggle multiple projects at once and respond to changing priorities.Must be comfortable managing complex segmentation strategies that require multiple email/ donation page set-ups per campaign messageExcellent attention to detail and strong organization skillsExcel while working independently and collaboratively in a team; proactively propose recommendations or solutions to the teamComfortable working in a space where emergency rapid response may be requiredMinimum two years of relevant experience requiredCommit to a donor-centric framework that honors the donor journey from first to ultimate gift, and the many ways donors engage with and support WFP USA
