Heritage 1904 and our collection of hospitality businesses; Von’s 1000Spirits, Northwest Spirits and Sharps Roasthouse is looking for a Strategic Programs Director with demonstrated experience creating and implementing programs across multiple restaurants. This hands-on collaborative people leader will contribute to the development of the long-term vision of restaurant programs and operations, transform that vision into location-specific programs, and partner with the HR and People Development Director to train, implement, and measure effectiveness and impact across the company.Responsibilities:Collaborate with senior management to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans.Create, analyze, and monitor systems and processes across all functions of the organization; HR, Training and Development, Finance and Accounting, Customer Satisfaction, and Technology. Participate in systems and tools development as needed, maintain and improve inventory systems, conduct walk throughs and hold stores accountable to our standards, oversee the maintenance program and R&M.Incorporate core values into all programs and communications. Exemplify and hold store level managers accountable to our core values.Partner with People and Development Director to find areas of improvement around financial performance including labor costs and opportunities, pour cost and other financial goals using our financial tools.Oversee all product development. Work with Executive Chef and Beverage director to create menus 2x/year, the Marketing and Recipe Writer to ensure Bar Bible is updated for each store, and the Executive Admin to oversee the creation of menus and cheat sheets. Partner with the People Director to train and implement.Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. Monitor, maintain and update reporting at the store level and review outcomes with the GM’s monthly.Create and align training goals with annual strategic plans. Partner with the People Director and GM’s to improve the performance of all underperforming employees, managers, departments and locations.Maintain HR-related content and communications relating to current policies, benefits, compliance, and SOPs. Maintain all employee onboarding processes and update as necessary. Maintain training content for all JREs, Training Books, all training related SOPs.Rotate through and work out of different stores on a weekly basis to monitor daily operations: Rotation of 3 weeks in-store (one per week) and one (1) week admin work. This includes working on the floor alongside the team, identifying systems that need improvement, and providing coaching on the spot.Qualifications:10+ years experience in a leadership role in a field related to our industry.2+ years demonstrated experience creating and implementing strategic programs across multiple locations.Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, supported by previous professional success.Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.Ability to travel between locations in the Greater Seattle Area.Compensation:Pay Range: $105,000/yr - $115,000/yrEligible for Quarterly Bonus following 90-days.Benefits:Group Health Benefits401k ParticipationPaid Holidays and Time Off AccrualJob Type: Full-timePay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededAbility to Relocate:Seattle, WA 98101: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
