Product Lead
on the Ambience product team, your mission will be to define, build, and launch new 0-1 products, drive their usage and scale distribution across healthcare providers who use our platform every single day as they care for patients.In the first six months, you’ll be responsible for successfully launching and scaling new frontier products. As a product leader, you’ll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of new product initiatives--from product scoping to rollout operational reviews. Our Product roles are hybrid in our SF office 3x/wk.What you’ll accomplish:Define and scope frontier products:
Build a deep understanding of customer needs and translate them into actionable product specifications within the first 3 months. Deliver meaningful product capabilities that enhance customer value and support Ambience’s mission within the first 6 months.
Build, launch and scale:
Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to launch and post-launch optimization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, scalable implementations within the first 6 months.
Platform strategy:
Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategy. Set clear, measurable OKRs and track product success against these metrics for product area.
Platform ownership:
Act as the driving force behind collaboration between product, engineering, design, and clinical teams and enablement for sales and customer success to ensure your platform delivers customer value.
Who you are:You have 5+ years of product management experience working on 0 to 1 problems preferably in B2B SaaS products/platforms
You have a founder / ownership mindset to product management with a proven ability to take products from ideation through launch and scale
You excel at understanding customer needs and breaking down the abstractions to the problem
You can set and track against OKRs and take a proactive ownership mindset to keep leadership informed on accomplishments and next steps
You have a strong track record of aligning across multiple cross-functional teams and leading product initiatives by working effectively with engineering, design, and other stakeholders
You are comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical trade-offs, with experience writing detailed product specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences
You are results-oriented and focus on delivering measurable value for customers, always tracking and achieving key product metrics
Pay TransparencyThe base compensation for this role is approximately $200,000 – $260,000 per year, excluding equity or bonus targets. We’ve intentionally allocated a wider range so that candidates have more flexibility to choose the desired cash/equity split that works for them. Philosophically, we lean towards generous equity grants so that our team truly gets to share in the impact they create.Are you outside of the range?
