Oracle Senior Principal Software Engineer - Oracle Database
Location: Bismarck, North DakotaResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.Define and evolve standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division.Lead and mentor team members, contributing individually and as a part of a team.Work on complex, non-routine tasks requiring advanced technical/business skills.Build and operate large-scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.Develop software for tasks associated with designing and debugging software applications or operating systems.Minimum QualificationsBS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.10+ years of software engineering or related experience.Strong technical skills with a proven record of designing and developing cloud-scale systems, highly available distributed systems, or databases.Deep knowledge of database internals, database management, and lifecycle management.Experience with Oracle or any RDBMS product is a big advantage.Strong experience with data structures, algorithms, concurrency, multi-threading, and object-oriented design.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Python, Shell Scripting, and Java.Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.Willingness to learn new programming languages as needed.Compensation and BenefitsUS: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum.
