Job SummaryYOU are a fun, smart, dedicated and experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our modern urban multifamily residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of property management practices. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, resident relations, and leasing activities, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and our residents are happy and satisfied.
We are a boutique high design Architecture/ Development/ Construction and Property Management group.
You must be willing to have fun while driving a responsible proactive quality ship.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and drive revenue through upselling opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other local, state and federal laws.
Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed to ensure high standards of upkeep.
Maintain accurate records using the Appfolio property management software for tracking leases, payments, and Property Meld Software for maintenance requests.
Foster positive relationships with tenants through excellent customer relationship management and effective communication skills.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Negotiate lease agreements and renewals in alignment with company policies.
Provide training and support to junior staff members in facilities management practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in property management is essential.
Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and Fair Housing regulations.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with Residents and vendors.
Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
Familiarity with property management software, particularly Appfolio.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving in facilities management scenarios.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
