RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for Sales forecasting for the Americas region.Responsible for Pricing strategy and execution across the Americas region; the role will drive adherence to channel pricing management policy.Responsible for Commercial Finance across the Americas region; the role will work closely with the Americas management team to develop and improve the reporting in the region.Sales Ops leader driving use of Sales Force to improve visibility of the sales team's efforts and pipeline.Owner of Sales Force software and responsible with IT for proper configuration and maintenance of the tool.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Pricing Management
Development and management of pricing tools and policy, working with a service provider to develop and manage channel pricing tool.Special pricing - own development and implementation of review and approval process and associated tools.Customer price lists - development and maintenance.Programs, such as rebates, promotions and investments - reviews and processing.New product financials analysis and reviews.Special pricing and rebate claim review and approvals.Develop pricing policy and ensure compliance and audit requirements.
Business Intelligence
Channel data management, sell out and inventory, data management and analytics.Work with IT & service providers to ensure data is complete and accurate.Develop business intelligence tools to analyze and share data across the business.Drive accountability across the sales organization and provide insights and strategic support.
Commercial Finance - Reporting and budgeting
Financial performance reporting and analysis and forecasting future results.Ownership of annual budgeting and review process for sales and gross margin along with Americas Finance Team and Sales Leadership team.Design, build and test complex integrated financial models, typically incorporating profit and loss, at customer and product levels.Ensure integrity of financial models and projections through implementation of suitable controls, documentation and testing.Liaising with Finance team and commercial sales teams, manage revenue related month end close.Interface with multiple stakeholders across different functions and seniority to identify underlying business drivers and inputs.Ad-hoc financial analysis.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Ownership of annual budgeting and regular re-forecast process for Sales and Margin along with Americas Finance Team, development of process and support tools and review.
People Management
People management - two direct reports.Coaching and development.Drive accountability across the senior sales leadership team through active partnering and communication.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.10+ years of progressive experience and leadership.In-depth understanding of pricing management through a distribution channel, including B2B, B2C and OEM.Advanced IT skills, VBA / SQL / Power BI / data management skills are highly desirable.A commercial mind-set with the ability to analyze the output of models beyond the reporting of financial data, providing in-depth business insight.Continuous improvement - a driver of transformational change.Effective time management and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to create and manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.Attention to detail - a zero-error ethic.Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.The ability to work with new technology and software tools to enhance our ability to deliver information in a real-time environment.Strong teamwork, successfully engages with others to build and maintain positive relationships.Change management leader.Problem solver.Data driven and analytical.Strong ability to motivate, persuade and lead.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):Pricing Management - Channel Management.Business Intelligence - Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports delivered accurately & timely.Reporting/Analysis - Monthly reporting pack & ad-hoc analysis within desired timeframe.Budgeting/Forecasting - Annual Budgeted process and Monthly forecast.Team Management - Performing motivated team & Sales Pipeline.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:Flexibility and ability to work non-standard business hours.Ability to work in an office environment as well as in a remote home office environment.Own method of transportation to and from work.Constant ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside an office or remote setting.Push, pull, lift or carry at least 10 lbs. on occasion: minimal kneeling, bending and squatting.Able to perform repetitive motion with wrist, hands, and fingers.
