This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

Special Mentions:
Travel expected up to 15% of the time
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Utilize Model-based Systems Engineering tools to manage interfaces
Utilize model-based SE tools to manage physical and data flows throughout a system
Manage Crew and life support systems hardware, electrical and data interfaces
Develop interface control documents (ICDs)
Develop interface requirements
Act as the negotiator between subsystems and components for interfaces
Contribute to architecture studies, concept development, verification planning, vehicle integration, and operations support
Generate Concept of Operations (ConOps)
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or related technical subject area
Highly knowledgeable of systems engineering practices, integration processes, and mission/safety critical systems
Strong ability and desire to analyze complex systems and deliver solutions to results-oriented problems
Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful candidates typically have 2+ years of relevant experience, particularly experience with environmental control and life support, crew interfaces, and electronic equipment
M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or related technical subject area
Deep technical knowledge in multiple subsystems
Experience with human-rated spacecraft
Experience with MBSE methods and tools
Experience with software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Git, Jama, Cameo, Confluence, and JIRA
Compensation Range for:
CO applicants is $88,440.00-$123,816.00; WA applicants is $96,480.00-$135,072.00
