The Department of Economics invites applications for one tenure track position at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2025. Candidates are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in Economics prior to the start date, have evidence of promise in research, have demonstrated a capacity for effective teaching, and a willingness to be active in service to the College and community.We are interested in candidates who specialize in applied econometrics. In addition to economics principles, the new hire will be expected to teach econometrics and courses in their field of research such as labor economics, international trade, or industrial organization.Completed applications must be received by November 18, 2024, to receive full consideration by the search committee. Candidates must submit online a cover letter, current curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, a sample of their research, three letters of recommendation, teaching statement/philosophy, and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
