R&D Software Engineer – Web Development
to join our team! In this role, you will dedicate your time developing performance-optimized front-end web designs as well as implementing new frameworks, libraries, and technologies.Primary responsibilities will include:Develop teach pendant programs under the direction of an ASG software engineer.Manage installation, startup, and debug of the system/unit at the customer site.Assist in the installation through buyoff, customer acceptance, and production support.Provide timely reports that include progress, issues, status updates, and on-site planning.Troubleshoot hardware, electrical, and software issues.Supply prompt, professional, and courteous solutions to customer problems.Process necessary paperwork, while providing customer and ASG team with status updates and issues/resolution tracking.Provide support to the various departments in ASG including project management, process engineering, and controls and software engineering.Develop robot programs written in TTP and conduct informal on-site system training.Assist in the overall process improvement of ASG.Generate daily status reports as required.30% or more travel for possibly extended durations.Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, related field preferred, or equivalent experience.3+ years experience in web development using C# and .Net (ASP.Net, Web API, .Net Core, .Net 6) preferred.Applied use in SQL query writing and development.Ability to read and understand C++ and PASCAL.Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio.Experience building and deploying Docker applications and familiarity with FANUC robots is preferred.High School Diploma or GED Required.We offer market competitive pay and benefits programs, as well as opportunities for advancement, knowledge and skill development, and recognition of individual achievements.
