OverviewAs a Specialist on the Liquidity Management (LM) team, you will provide subject matter expertise to functional colleagues and internal stakeholders on specific functional subject areas/regulations (e.g., liquidity metrics, liquidity remediation, and liquidity methodologies; stress scenario analysis; interpretation and management on multiple internal liquidity metrics, US and Europe regulatory guidance) for the effective management of Consolidated US Operations (CUSO) liquidity positions, in line with the Bank's policies and regulatory requirements. You will take ownership of monitoring and managing the internal liquidity stress testing (ILST) along with interpretations of regulatory requirements (US Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and US Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)) and guide the team in developing responses to regulatory related examinations. You will be responsible for developing best practice approaches and building subject matter capability within the Function, in response to the changing regulatory landscape and manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues within/across functions to support the execution of the Business strategy and achievement of the Bank/Division objectives. You will lead the liquidity steering team to properly define required liquidity buffer and efficiently manage daily liquidity surplus and HQLA level, as well as collaborate with Global Liquidity team and other Treasury functions to support on different objectives and understand the methodology deviation between Group and local. You will oversee the real-time intraday liquidity for all US entities, communicate with Business and Operations to understand intraday high utilization root cause and lead ad hoc projects to enhance intraday liquidity with internal teams and external vendors, in addition to managing the relationship with 2nd line of defense, audit, and Treasury technology team to lead technology implementation of liquidity models and monitoring tools.

Proactively monitor daily liquidity surplus movement in US entities (i.e., broker dealer, commercial & retail bank, New York Branch), propose and execute timely liquidity remediation plan, while actively managing entities' surplus under target level by performing daily liquidity forecast and evaluate the liquidity impact to low point tenor and the binding scenario based on business forecast and Treasury actionsExplain daily volatility amongst different metrics (e.g., Stress test, LCR, NSFR, long term funding concentration, Long Term Funding Analysis, liquidity metric/limit/threshold breach, B/S recon, box recon); understand the modeling deviation between Group and local, while being the central contact for liquidity related questions and will be responsible for providing scenario analysis and proposing solutions for ad hoc business & Treasury projectsOwn communications with senior management on liquidity topics, prepare and present liquidity updates in management meetings (e.g., ALCO, RiskCo, LRC, Fed calls)Maintain and develop internal liquidity tools (e.g., USLM Dashboard, cliff risk management, key LRD trendline analysis), in addition to managing and understanding the intra-day liquidity exposure and propose intra-day remediation and enhancement solutions to Treasury and Business. Take ownership on intra-day modeling and FTP process (via changes/refresh of consumption-based charging)Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance and review of methodologies for internal liquidity stress test (ILST) and actively participate in discussions with Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) and Model Risk Management (MoRM) functions in documenting and validating risk driversAssess the liquidity impacts related to new products and businesses, lead discussions with LTRA, LRM and other teams regarding liquidity position and liquidity models (e.g., Liquidity Risk Drivers (LRD) movements, drill down analysis, trendline); understand front-to-end data flow for each model and be aware of the adjustments in ILST and other liquidity reporting, and liaise with the Group teams across US and Europe to ensure consistency in standards and Liquidity practicesSkills You'll Need

Moderate experience in the financial services/banking industryRelevant experience in Liquidity Management or TreasuryBachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related fieldsSkills That Will Help You Excel

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
