Position Summary:Involves the development and implementation of the organization's information systems and tools that are applied to clinical information. Works closely with clinicians across all hospital/healthcare departments to optimize effective use of systems. Coordinates analytical support for health management, including profiling, health economics, and business analytics/performance metrics. Defines systems and applications to support various functions. May provide customer service, troubleshooting and maintenance. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems/issues of diverse score and determines solutions.What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:Current CA RN or LVN license.Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, nursing, or related area and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures related to position.Proficient in MS Office products.Knowledge in electronic health record implementation.Knowledge with EMR/CPOE project training.Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.Physical Requirements:
