Tyler Technologies' Herndon, VA office is currently looking to hire an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in AWS and EKS/Kubernetes to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. You will play a critical role in driving our cloud strategy, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the current and future needs of our business.

Preference is to work a hybrid schedule from our Herndon, VA office.Location

Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS services, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications, including monitoring, scaling, and updating.Collaborate with development teams to create and deploy microservices architectures and CI/CD pipelines.Conduct cloud readiness assessments and recommend improvements to existing architectures.Lead cloud migration projects, including cost analysis and optimization strategies.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding data security and privacy.Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices to the team.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and introduce innovative solutions to enhance our cloud capabilities.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.Solid experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management and orchestration.Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices in the cloud.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Kubernetes certification preferred.NIST SP 800-53 Rev5 experience preferred.
