Additional information on the company is available at www.pery.com.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our team and help support our HR functions and employee needs.SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Coordinator will play a key role in managing and supporting various HR activities, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruitment & Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation, document preparation, and introduction to company policies.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.Assist in addressing and resolving employee concerns and conflicts, escalating issues to HR management as necessary.
Benefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.Coordinate open enrollment periods and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
Compliance & Recordkeeping:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance data.
HR Projects & Initiatives:
Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures.Support various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement activities and training programs.
General HR Support:
Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics.Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, managing HR documentation, and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR support role or related field.Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Preferred Qualifications:HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.Experience with specific HR software or tools relevant to the company.Legal Disclaimer:Perry Ellis International is an equal opportunity employer.
