The Textile Designer is responsible for creating and producing original graphic and/or textile print designs that reflect the assigned brand’s aesthetics within calendar deadlines. The designer should have experience in creating artwork layouts and pattern repeats.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create original artwork for prints, woven's, and graphics seasonally in support of multiple brands.Translate trends, concepts, and direction for brand specific prints.Create original artwork from design direction.Use design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Ned Graphics to execute designs and manipulate artwork.Analyze artwork for best print execution and techniques.Ensure prints are executed correctly for scale and placement as per design specs.Manage artwork requests and deadlines to meet calendar dates.Ensure final artwork meets production standards.Research current trends and concepts for original artwork.Partner with design on execution and business needs.Expand knowledge of trends, color, and technical skills.Manage paperwork and download of purchased artwork.Maintain and organize physical and digital libraries and archives.SKILLS:

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics or related programs.Strong artistic background with the ability to create conceptual and final art.Knowledge of print and textile design.Familiarity with current trends, color, and design.Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects.Works well under pressure and meets deadlines without sacrificing detail.Good interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS/BFA in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Illustration, or related field.Experience in design, preferably in retail or textile industry.4+ years of applied print/graphic design experience.Field-related portfolio.Legal Disclaimer:
