Drive revenue growth and profitability for the Original Penguin Golf channel by leading sales, operations, and financial strategies. Develop and execute comprehensive plans to expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Green Grass, Off Course, Specialty, E-commerce, and Sporting Goods channels.Lead and mentor a team of inside sales representatives and independent reps.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, golf management groups, and tournament organizers.Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.Oversee day-to-day operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service.Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.Conduct profitability analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.Hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in sales management and leadership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in financial planning and analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in sales forecasting and CRM systems.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Business Admin required; MBA preferred.5-10 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally as a Vice President of Sales in Sports.Experience selling to Green Grass, Off Course, Specialty, E-commerce, and Sporting Goods channels.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans that resulted in business growth.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Effective communication and presentation abilities.Familiarity with the latest marketing technologies and trends.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Knowledge of changing demographics in the USA and internationally.Legal Disclaimer:
