Work with various data processing frameworks such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Numpy. Perform distributed data processing using PySpark to work with large datasets. Develop an understanding of Walmart’s products based on attributes such as title, description, and image. Generate structured features for Walmart products from unstructured data. Design and construct automated workflow pipelines. Perform statistical analysis and data visualization. Design and develop ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow. Evaluate model performance using metrics such as NDCG and MRR. Develop end-to-end recommender systems based on item similarity and complementarity for various customer interfaces.Minimum education and experience required:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field;
OR
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field.Skills required:
Experience coding in object-oriented programming language Python. Experience querying and processing data from databases. Experience preprocessing data and implementing feature engineering. Experience with Natural Language Processing. Experience structuring and organizing unstructured text data. Experience performing probabilistic and statistical analysis. Experience with data visualization. Experience experimenting with various machine learning and data mining algorithms including regression, clustering, decision trees, and artificial neural networks. Experience with semi-supervised learning. Experience generating performance evaluation metrics. Experience designing and implementing end-to-end recommender systems.Salary Range:
$138,911/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.Benefits:
