You will support automation across BI and data initiatives and developing data products. This resource plays a critical role in the development of BI/data warehouse/data lake solutions used by internal and external partners. These solutions include data ingestion, harmonization, visualization, quality assessment and delivery.This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. You will report to the Manager, Data Engineering. Locations: NYC, Philadelphia or Chicago.Responsibilities:Support portfolio of data projects across different clients in the agencyWork with different teams such as client, sales, IT, media planning and buyingCreate high performance data products by monetizing warehouse and ETL solutionsDevelopment and optimization of BI solutions such as Tableau, Datorama, Google Data StudioData management tasks including:
ETL/data feed managementMetadata management
Maintain best practices for handling, storing and using dataTools:
SQL Server/SSISPython/JavaBI Platforms – Tableau, Datorama, etc.Cloud Technologies – AWS, Azure, Google
Qualifications
BS Degree in one of the following subject areas; Computer Science, Information Technology or related fieldExperience tracking and resolving BI and database related incidents as well as requestsExperience with database structures, theories, principles, and practicesExperience with ETL and data warehouse principlesGood interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsTechnical documentation skillsAbility to communicate updates and resolutions in user-friendly languageAble to prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentSpecific Skills Required:Minimum 3 years SQL experience, 1 year of ETL experience, 1 year analyzing data setsMinimum 1 year BI experience (Tableau, Datorama)Strong data warehouse knowledgeExperience with large datasetsPython, Java, C# or R experience a plusExperience with Web and Digital marketing data a plusAdditional Information
