Responsibilities & QualificationsThe Information Technology team, located in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Manager IT Applications. This role is responsible for leading Enterprise Solutions Development COE team members for Middleware as well as facilitating and/or owning the design, deployment, and support of Integration solutions. This involves collaborating with Enterprise Solutions Application leads, other IT groups, external partners, and business collaborators to evaluate requirements, and to define, design and implement Integration with various systems involved. The Manager will also, on a global level, participate in and/or lead initiatives/projects related to the individual’s area of MuleSoft and Process expertise.
Responsibilities
Build networks and relationships with business partners for current and future project collaboration.
Lead the evaluating, approving, and prioritizing requests for change (RFCs) and advise the tasks to the accurate IT Application Lead for technically approving the resulting modified and/or new solutions applicable to the accountable MuleSoft integration template solutions.
Ensure the consistency of proposed solutions, within area of accountability, with the overall IT strategy and compliance with broader IT policies and guidelines, e.g., security, performance, scalability, and reliability measures.
Review delivery/project constraints (technology, risk, scope, cost, and quality) and reconcile these within the restrictions of the IT Strategy, IT budget and delivery/project goals.
Establish as a key contributor in defining long-term MuleSoft and related application technology strategies and roadmaps.
Proactively assist in the development of MuleSoft in Novelis. Share knowledge and technical expertise through publishing, teaching, and/or mentoring.
Platform Enablement with DevOps Strategy.
Track and Promote MuleSoft Platform Capability.
DevSecOps Strategy, Platform Onboarding & Access Control, Service Accounts / Connected Apps Setup, Platform Deployment Strategy, Platform Provisioning, Setup and Configurations, Platform, Infrastructure & Network Architecture, and planning.
Lead/Plan Sizing (Vcore).
Promote the application maintenance, project methodology and processes standards defined by IT.
Facilitate and/or build baseline documentation of currently enabled solution and keep solution documentation up to date and current.
Proactively provide input to schedule, status, risks, issues on Middleware related developments, programs, and projects.
Provide input to MuleSoft and related roadmaps to stay ahead of upgrades and versions.
Work with different teams within Novelis, examples include SAP, Oracle, Infrastructure, HR, Digital, etc.
Provide direction to Implementation Partners relating to the projects under the supervision of the Manager; participate as critical issue point for project and as a member of the operational steering committee and change board.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
7-10 years of experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
Experience of integration and API architecture.
Understanding of industry trends, frameworks, and practices.
Provide technical leadership to onshore and offshore team members.
Worked on DevOps culture.
Understanding of Agile Delivery principles and quality software engineering process and practice.
Comfortable operating as a multi-functional and end-to-end business process as an Integration Application expert.
Participated in at least 3 full lifecycle Integration implementation projects and filled a team lead, solution architect, and/or project management role in at least one of these projects.
Delivered projects and/or change requests applying agile and waterfall approaches.
Led at least 3 direct reports in an Enterprise.
Demonstrable ability to influence business and IT organizations on direction and prioritization of solutions.
Must thrive in a team-oriented, highly collaborative workplace.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Must be able to prioritize across multiple projects and initiatives.
Strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures.
Proven solid understanding of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems and their direct implementation to enterprise application projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
Certifications – MuleSoft.
Platform Architect.
Integration Architect.
Experience working in the Metals or Commodity manufacturing industry.
Experience with SAP integration.
