Position Overview

The Novelis Global Procurement team, located in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager- IT Software! This role is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies and leading procurement efforts across the organization in partnership with Functional and Business Leaders at Novelis. The role is associated with the Global Procurement Organization that sources, negotiates, implements, and leads enterprise-wide agreements covering Indirect spend categories.

Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for the Software Licensing category.

Partner with applicable Functional and Business collaborators and become a trusted business partner, providing strategic direction, and communicating goals, practices, and processes of the IT sourcing group.

Support and assist Novelis’ IT function and other business stakeholders as it relates to all aspects of Supplier Management including but not limited to supplier development and management, contract negotiation, performance management and reporting, supplier reviews, project management, etc.

Collect, cleanse, classify and analyze spend data with the purpose of reducing procurement costs, generating opportunities for improving efficiency and supervising compliance of spend under management.

Partner with the IT Asset Management group, carry out activities associated with the Software Asset Management (SAM) program as well as third party software license audits.

Identify complex and emerging contract risk areas, advise business partners on identified risks and implement risk mitigation actions.

Partner with suppliers in forward-thinking strategic development and relationship building, leveraging innovative ideas by acting as a liaison between business partners and suppliers.

Operate in a fast-paced, matrix environment managing a multitude of diverse and dynamic procurement projects.

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years of procurement experience within IT Sourcing and Category Management.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, and/or category management associated with Indirect Categories such as Information Technology (IT).

Adept at developing negotiation plans; validated experience and expertise leading complex commercial negotiations.

Strong communication capabilities, including presentation to executive audiences and negotiation abilities.

Strong Program Management Skills, incorporating multiple projects.

Strong Project Management and Strategic Sourcing skills.

Quantitative and Data Analytics Skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and get results in a highly matrix environment, and communicate within different levels of organizations including C-suite executives.

Demonstrated knowledge of technology markets, trends, pricing, suppliers, and sourcing.

CPM or CPSM.
