Applied Motion Products is seeking an Inside Sales Manager

to complement the field sales effort by supporting the needs of customers not directly managed by either Business Development Managers or Field Sales Managers. This includes E-Commerce customers, new customers, and distributors. This customer segment includes a high number of customers with relatively low average purchase amounts representing about 90% of our total customers (The mass market segment).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

In collaboration with other departments, develop strategies and plans and goals to grow the mass market customer segment and regularly report results.

Communicate with clients regarding sales/service issues while making timely introductions and follow up calls/emails upon receipt of the request for quotes.

Reply and respond to customer inquiries relative to price and delivery.

Confer with customers to verify satisfaction with product or to resolve any complaints and concerns.

Develop and execute a mass market communication strategy to notify prospective customers of products provided by the Company.

Develop a thorough knowledge of Applied Motion Products procedures and systems to interface with customers and internal departments to assure maximum customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, and product development.

Understand different client’s needs and identify sales opportunities.

Develop an extensive knowledge of our product line and stay up to date through ongoing training and research.

Work Experience:Five years’ experience working with motion control products, two years’ experience in a sales role selling motion control products in a mass market environment, with proven ability to drive sales growth.

Skills/Attributes:Have a detailed understanding of E-Commerce sales, sales cycles, combined with a keen sense of urgency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent sales skills, proven ability to grow sales.

Qualifications (Education, Degrees, Certifications):Engineering degree with a focus on mechatronics strongly preferred. MBA preferred, Salesforce CRM and Microsoft office suite competency.
