Associate Scientist
in our R&D Organic Research Lab on-site in our
Waltham, MA
office. The individual in this role will be responsible for the synthesis of both routine and novel chemicals used in a variety of clinical analyzers and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
include:Conducting research and development in assigned area, under general supervision, using established methodologies.Performing literature searches.Documenting experiments and preparations in detail and writing lab reports.Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:The ideal candidate should have a
BS degree in Chemistry.0-2 years lab experience; a strong background in organic chemistry is required.Must be a good team player and possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, executing the job assignment in detail with care.Knowledge of basic research and development techniques is also required.At Nova Biomedical, we practice our core values of mutual respect, honesty, and integrity throughout the company.
