a bachelor's degree in filmmaking (or similar) and at least five (5) years of professional experience in your field .A reel of top-quality work is essential.We are hiring faculty members for the Spring 2022 semester. Teachers must be able to commit to at least 6 hours of teaching per week. Since many of our classes are being taught online, you must be comfortable with remote teaching and do not have to be located in the San Francisco area to apply.ResponsibilitiesFaculty members are expected to:Work with the school's Dean to design curricula for each classCreate a supportive environment for students and encourage them to do their best workPerform all duties related to their teaching in a timely and professional mannerAttend bi-monthly faculty meetingsCoordinate with school administration on student attendance and gradingQualificationsAudio for Film Instructor (Recording & Post-Production)Minimum of five years of professional experienceBachelor degree in film, audio recording, or related fieldExperience working in Adobe Audition & Pro ToolsExperience working with HD footage and knowledge of HD workflowsTeaching experience preferred, but not necessaryCompensation$50 - $60 hourlyAbout San Francisco Film SchoolFounded in 2005, San Francisco Film School is one of the most innovative colleges in the country.
