Appointments are contingent on the hiring unit's instructional need and the availability of funding. This recruitment is valid for initial appointments beginning in spring quarter 2024 through spring quarter 2025. Kresge College at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach Kresge College enhancement courses. These courses are meant to contribute to a diverse liberal arts program, expand general education options, provide opportunities for learning across disciplines, and explore collaborative and experimental approaches to higher learning.Applicants with any of the following qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:Expertise in film and media studies, creative and nonfiction writing, ecology and environmental studies, art and community, political and social justice, and other interdisciplinary fields.PhD or MFA.Five or more years' university level teaching experience.Internal candidates will be given priority consideration.The hiring unit will not sponsor employment-eligible immigration statuses for this position.Qualifications
