Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with large customer organizations across Consumer Power and Clean Energy business units.Ensure proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications by collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.Establish new operational processes and departmental RACI between Contracts team, Compliance team and Sales team.Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers to negotiate contractual terms and conditions.Operationalize a continuous process to check in with operational teams to ensure contracts remain up to date with internal needs.Advocate on behalf of Generac needs and standards of operations.Partner with compliance teams regularly to understand compliance concerns and how contract adjustments can ensure less compliance violations and fines.Lead contract management improvements and initiatives including investigating and implementing automated solutions, such as CLM.Compare contractual obligations across the organization to identify common areas while driving operational improvements in collaboration with sales channel VPs and other senior leaders.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
