The organization offers excellent work-life balance, competitive base salary, bonus and benefits package and a positive hybrid working arrangement.Job DescriptionAs Senior Legal Counsel, varied responsibilities include:Leading on varied significant M&A/ transactionsProviding wider legal counsel - predominantly commercial transactions, regulatory and other corporate mattersManaging outside counselWorking relatively autonomoulsy as the US M&A/ transactions subject matter expertCommunicating closely with the wider international in-house legal teamThe Successful ApplicantDemonstrable skills and experience required for the Senior Legal Counsel role:7+ years M&A/ transactions in-house and big law experienceMust have JD and US state bar (preferably NY bar)Must be a strong communicator, able to build relationships and trust quickly - comfortable leading large business transactions and M&A activity - working with the GC (based abroad) leading activities within the US and busy NY officeWhat's on OfferThe Senior Legal Counsel will benefit from:$350,000-$375,000 base salaryCompetitive annual bonusWider benefits packageSupportive hybrid/ flexible working arrangement - NYC, Midtown office (3 days/ week working in office)
