DetailsJob Title: Accountant
Type: Part-Time (Hourly)
Location: Work Remotely
Reports to: Finance Manager
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTalEx seeks an experienced Accountant on a part-time basis (approximately 20+ hours per week). The Accountant is part of our Finance/Accounting team and will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide timely, efficient accounting and consulting support. This position has room to grow and learn. It is anticipated that this will be a temporary position but it may possibly be converted to a permanent position.
Perform general ledger analysis and reconciliations
Support aspects of AP, AR, and Payroll Reconciliation
Perform benefits reconciliation on a weekly basis
Perform month-end close process
Prepare various financial analysis and reports
Assist with audit and compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; at least 4 years, CPA is a plus
Must have experience in financial statement preparation
Strong knowledge and understanding of basic GAAP accounting principles
Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills required
Effective oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and the ability to work in a meticulous, thorough, and precise manner
Strong analytical skills
Outstanding service orientation; a sense of urgency; high-level of personal integrity
Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations
Ability to work independently, but a strong effective team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Payroll reporting preferred
Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills
Experience with Unanet
Strong proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Experience with General Ledger, A/P, A/R, Payroll, ADP, financial analysis, audit, compliance & reporting.
