About the PositionWe are growing and looking for qualified New York-admitted attorneys to join the Goetz Fitzpatrick team as we move forward with our upcoming merger to become Goetz Platzer as of January 1, 2025. We are seeking a full-time attorney with 7+ years of experience in Labor and Employment. An attorney who is insightful, intuitively analytical, and self-directed in overseeing client files with partner input, insight and guidance but minimal day-to-day supervision will be successful in this role. The attorney will enjoy opportunities to offer clients practical legal advice, engage in research, negotiate agreements, litigate, and represent clients in a wide array of labor and employment matters. This position is primarily situated in our New York office, offering some flexibility for remote work.
Annual base salary is $200,000+ (Goetz Fitzpatrick LLP is not a lock-step firm and the exact amount of salary for this position is dependent on a variety of factors). In addition to base salary, the firm offers an annual discretionary bonus, paid time off, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k Profit Sharing Plan (employee-only contribution plan), and pre-tax transportation benefits.
